Area Service Committee
The Central Ohio Area Service Committee of Narcotics Anonymous (COASCNA) consists of NA members working together to serve the Central Ohio Area of Narcotics Anonymous (COANA). The Area Service Committee serves the groups and fellowship within COANA, but not to act as authority over COANA. Its primary function is to unify and aid groups within COANA by operating within its defined and implied responsibilities as directed by the fellowship, adhering to the Twelve Traditions and Twelve Concepts and striving to provide support for the following:
- To carry the message of recovery through COASCNA subcommittees such as Public Relations, Hospitals and Institutions, etc.
- To contribute to the growth of NA by supporting the service structure, the Region and World Services.
Every NA Group in the Central Ohio Area is strongly encouraged to be represented at ASC meetings through their Group Service Representative (GSR). COASCNA (Central Ohio Area Service Committee of Narcotics Anonymous). NA members share their voice in group conscience, GSRs share at Area, which is then shared at NA Regional and World Service Organizations. A group and its members have a voice throughout ALL of NA if you choose to use it. Meetings are open to all members, as well as, GSRs.
The Area Service Committee meets monthly. Meetings are open to all NA members and GSRS.

Donations to Area Service
COASCNA offers electronic donation options to make it easier for NA members and groups to contribute. Please remember that our 7th Tradition states, “Every NA group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.” In keeping with this principle, we are unable to accept donations from non-addicts.
Members and groups may send contributions via PayPal to coascna.treasurer@gmail.com.
Anyone can create a PayPal account with a valid email address and linked checking account or credit card. Please be sure to include a note with your donation indicating which group or individual is sending the funds so it can be properly recorded.
